Carroll Wayne Beeson, 71, of Bentonville, AR died Monday August 21, 2006 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born August 11, 1935, in Bradford, Arkansas to Herman and Bernice Beeson.

Carroll was a victim of polio at the age of 15 months. He had a strong will to succeed and overcome any and all obstacles that were placed before him. He graduated from Harding College with a degree in Accounting in 1959. It was there he meet his soul mate and wife, Glenda. He worked for Singer Manufacturing in Truman, Arkansas for 2 years after graduation. He then worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital system for the next 32 years. He retired in 1994 as the Chief of Accounting.

Upon his retirement, Carroll worked full time with the Free Indeed gospel ministry that he helped start with his wife and their twin daughters. Even with his disability Carroll traveled with the Free Indeed ministry for many years running the sound mixing equipment for the group’s singers. Carroll also managed the business part of the ministry since it began. Free Indeed has been singing and ministering through music for over 22 years.
The group has traveled world wide with the country of South Africa having been their latest overseas mission trip. The group’s singers include Carroll’s twin daughters (June Thompson & Julie Jouvenaux) and their husbands (Todd Thompson & Jon Jouvenaux) along with Darin Martin and Rick Lindsley. The ministry has recorded over 24 albums and continues touring throughout the United States and other countries.

Carroll is a life long member of the Church of Christ and a current member of the Bentonville Church of Christ in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Carroll was preceded in death by his father Herman Beeson of Harrisburg, Arkansas

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years Glenda Beeson, a son Bryan Beeson and his wife Teresa Beeson of Bentonville; twin daughters June Thompson and her husband Todd Thompson of Bentonville, Julie Jouvenaux and her husband Jon Jouvenaux of Cave Springs; seven grandchildren Bry Beeson, Bryce Beeson, Breann Beeson, Jaimie Jouvenaux, Jacy Jouvenaux, Isaac Thompson, and Isaiah Thompson.

Carroll is also survived by his mother Bernice Beeson of Harrisburg, Arkansas; five brothers Bill Beeson and his wife Gena of Buena Vista, Colorado, Jan Beeson and his wife Donna of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Darrell Beeson and his wife Jimmie of Bryam, Mississippi, Mike Beeson and his wife Judy of Jonesboro, and Gary Beeson and his wife Sherry of Mount Vernon, Arkansas, one sister Sharon Pugh and her husband Charles of New Martinsville, W.V.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stanley and Lois Barnett of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carroll is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends world wide.

The funeral service was 10:00AM Thursday August 24, 2006 at the Bentonville Church of Christ with William Spurlock and Dave Davis officiating. Cremation and private internment will take place at a later date.

Visitation was 4-6:00PM Wednesday August 23, 2006 at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers.
